Hey everyone, Nub here! Today I’m following up on our initial preview of the new Asgard Divide Event Dungeon with an updated guide on the best teams for farming it after more testing.
The Pinpoint gear set drops exclusively from this Event Dungeon right now and it’s a game-changer in arena by letting you block the Polymorph blessing with Intercept stacks. We’re still analysing the drop-rates for this dungeon to figure out the most efficient stages to farm–and if it’s worth your energy to even farm at all. Assuming it’s worth it though, read on to see the teams that can easily farm any stages of this new dungeon!
STAGES 1-20
The key team concept for stages 1-20 is to basically run an arena team. Odin himself doesn’t actually do much damage so we can be very aggressive in our team setup:
- Go first.
- Debuff the enemies.
- Blow up the minions in one/two hits.
- FInish off Odin.
The budget team I used for stages 1-20 was: Whisper, Apothecary, Warmaiden, Sun Wukong, Arbiter.
Arbiter goes first with her turn meter boost and Increase Attack for your damage dealer. You can replace her with any Increase Attack champion if needed.
Apothecary goes second with another turn meter boost us and heals us if needed. You can easily replace him with another damage dealer.
Warmaiden is next as the most accessible Decrease Defence champion in the game. You can use ANY other champion who can do this, with bonus points if they bring extra things (such as Lydia with Weaken and Block Buffs, or Uugo with healing and Block Buffs).
Sun Wukong is in as the most accessible damage dealer in the game since he is a free login champion and hits extremely hard with a backup Block Buffs ability. You could also simply use Kael, Ninja, or any other good damage dealer as well!
Finally, I used Whisper for big single target damage against Odin once Wukong had killed the minions. She hits incredibly hard and even brings an attack aura in dungeons. Feel free to replace her with any champion who does decent damage though.
STAGES 21-30
When we first tested out Stage 30 it was very intimidating due to the high stats of the enemies and the 6-star Temporal Chains and Lightning Cage blessing that Odin possessed. The good news is that Seer is the secret weapon to making this fight a walk in the park!
The easy strategy for stage 30 is simply the Lydia the Deathsiren and Seer combo: Lydia places Decrease Defence and Weaken on the enemies and provides buffs for Seer; Seer then rips off all your buffs with Karma Burn and one-shots all the minions. From this point on the fight is very simple and you can easily kill off Odin with single-target damage from champions like Gnut or Ninja.
A great budget team for this fight is Mithrala Lifebane, Arbiter, Lydia, Seer, Ninja
Mithrala provides an Accuracy aura which can help with the ~500 accuracy requirement on your champions. You can replace her with any Accuracy aura though (Loki will be great, bringing another Block Buffs debuff!)
Arbiter turn-meter boosts.
Lydia debuffs and Seer blows up the adds. You want the Crushing Rend blessing on Seer and strong Ignore Defence and Crit Damage gear. You can run a Shield set on one of your champions for an extra buff on your champions to boost her damage.
Ninja is a great pick to do big boss damage here since everyone just got him for free last month. Simply build him with decent speed and enough accuracy and watch his HP Burn Explosions wear Odin down in no time!
NUB’S STAGE 30 TEAM
My personal team for farming this fight is Packmaster Shy’ek, Lydia the Deathsiren, Seer, Gnut, Renegade.
This team farms in about 1 minute on average; it’s not the fastest possible team but I don’t have to regear anyone for it (except Lydia who usually rocks 9-piece protection for a Trunda Hydra team).
Packmaster Shy’ek is a recent fusion and perfectly suited for this boss. He brings a nice speed aura and with his A3 he provides a 25% turn meter boost for your team and places a block buffs debuff on all enemies on a 3-turn cooldown. Between him and Lydia you will always have Block Buffs on Odin, which makes him more valuable than Arbiter here.
Lydia and Seer blow up the waves, then the Gnut smacks Odin and Renegade resets everything. Simple!
Renegade is a convenient budget option but other reset champions like Prince Kymar are better if you have them. Try to build your reset champion as your slowest champ but still fast enough to go before Odin’s stun. A shield set is ideal to give Seer an extra damage boost.
Of course, a second Gnut, Acrizia, Marius the Gallant, or even Ninja can be equally good in that final slot instead.
THE FASTEST TEAM POSSIBLE?
For a 10 second farm of the dungeon use a team with:
- Decrease Defence and Weaken, e.g. Venus.
- Stack multiple enemy Max HP multi-hit damage dealers, e.g. Gnut, Marius, Acrizia, Wallmaster Othorion.
Odin has ~275 speed, so your champions will need to be faster than that. Odin has a 10% max HP damage cap, so you will need 10 Max HP damage hits total, or 9 with a good Soul Reap blessing.
For an absolutely insane TWO SECOND FARM!!!! Use a maxed out Siegfrund the Nephilim, with 3 Firrol the Barkhorns (the passives stack) and a 9-piece protection set Shu-Zhen the Valorous. ONE SHOT, ONE KILL! #relatable
